AuditWalk licenses provide a straightforward way to use and support AuditWalk Desktop and CLI. The product is local-first: core scan, baseline, compare, and doctor workflows run on-device. AuditWalk offers one paid Pro license with selectable term lengths. Standard term pricing is listed below. Free tier remains available for core CLI workflows.

- Free vs Pro (high level): Free includes core CLI workflows (
scan,baseline,compare,doctor). Pro adds paid licensed features and commercial usage rights for the purchased term.

Grant
License Grant and Scope
Subject to payment (where applicable) and compliance with these terms, AuditWalk grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the software during the purchased term for your internal business or personal use.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, one Pro license permits one named operator and one active device at a time. Reinstalls or replacement-device activation for the same customer/operator are allowed under the transfer policy below.
Licenses may not be assigned, sold, sublicensed, or otherwise transferred to a different person or legal entity without AuditWalk's written approval. Multi-seat or enterprise usage requires applicable team/enterprise terms.
Restrictions
Use Restrictions
- No resale, sublicensing, or commercial redistribution of binaries, keys, or activation materials.
- No removal or circumvention of licensing, attribution, or security controls.
- No reverse engineering except where non-waivable law expressly permits it.
- No abusive automation or key sharing that exceeds purchased entitlements.
Activation
Activation and Offline Verification
AuditWalk CLI is offline-first. License verification uses signed license material validated locally by the binary.
- Local verification: signed license tokens are validated on-device.
- Optional online activation: one-time activation can be used for convenience.
- Offline activation path: available when network-restricted workflows are required.
- No default telemetry upload: scan artifacts are not sent by default.
Device Transfer
Transfer and Reinstall
Same-customer reassignment and reinstall are supported for normal personal and business workflows. Transfer of a license to a different person or legal entity is not permitted unless approved in writing.
- Self-service reassignment: deactivate and reactivate to a replacement device for the same customer/operator from license tooling when available.
- Support-assisted reassignment: if original device access is lost, contact support with proof of purchase.
- Reasonable-use limits: repeated abnormal reassignment patterns may require review or team licensing.

Renewals
Renewals and Upgrades
- Renewals: licenses can be renewed at term end.
- Upgrades: move from single-license to expanded/team licensing as needed.
- Key validity: keys remain valid for the purchased term unless revoked for fraud, chargeback abuse, export/sanctions restrictions, or material license breach.
Refunds
Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Refund window: see the official Refund Policy for exact eligibility and exclusions.
- Service-linked purchases: pilot or custom services follow their signed terms.
- Requests: submit through Support with order reference.

Network
Network Policy and Privacy
- No automatic telemetry by default: core CLI does not upload scan artifacts by default.
- No hidden background integrity calls: scan/compare/doctor workflows run locally.
- Optional integrations are explicit: webhooks or export integrations must be configured by the operator.

No Security Outcome Guarantee
AuditWalk is diagnostic software. It does not guarantee detection of every integrity event, malware instance, compromise, misconfiguration, or policy violation. It does not guarantee prevention, containment, or remediation of incidents in your environment.
You are responsible for validating outputs and deciding operational response based on your own risk, controls, and applicable regulatory obligations.
Preview
Preview and Experimental Features
Features marked preview, beta, experimental, or early access are provided as-is for evaluation, may change or be removed at any time, and may have limited reliability, compatibility, or support coverage.
Enforcement
Suspension and Termination
AuditWalk may suspend or revoke licenses for fraud, abuse, payment failure, sanctions/export restrictions, or material breach of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease use of paid features and delete or deactivate invalid keys/tokens.
Law
Export Controls and Governing Law
You represent that your use complies with applicable export control and sanctions laws. You may not use the software where prohibited by law.
These license terms are governed by Colorado law. Venue for related disputes is in La Plata County, Colorado, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Enterprise and Team Licensing
