Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aden Media Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit auditwalk.com, use AuditWalk software, purchase a license, request support, or otherwise interact with our products and services.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
AuditWalk is a product of Aden Media Group LLC, a limited liability company. Our general contact is info@adenmediagroup.com. For AuditWalk-specific inquiries, use info@auditwalk.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to information collected through:
- auditwalk.com and related subdomains
- AuditWalk software, CLI tools, and downloadable releases
- license purchases, account creation, and subscription management
- support communications and intake forms
- documentation, waitlist forms, and other product interactions
This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to but do not control.
3. The local-first model
AuditWalk is designed to operate locally. By default, scan artifacts, baseline records, compare results, findings, and all other operational data produced by AuditWalk remain on your system. We do not automatically collect, upload, or transmit the contents of your filesystem, your scan results, or your findings to our servers.
This is a deliberate design commitment, not an incidental detail. If future versions of AuditWalk introduce optional cloud features, synchronization, hosted dashboards, or other networked capabilities, those features will be clearly described, opt-in by default, and documented in a policy update before they ship.
4. Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you purchase a license, join a waitlist, submit a support request, or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, billing information, company name, and any other details you choose to include.
Email opt-in submissions. We collect email addresses for update notifications, waitlist notifications, enterprise interest, and optional purchase-copy delivery only when you explicitly submit those forms and, where shown, opt in.
Transaction and license data. When you purchase or activate a product, we collect order details, transaction identifiers, license status, plan tier, and entitlement information necessary to fulfill and maintain your license.
Website and technical data. When you visit auditwalk.com, standard web server and analytics data may be collected, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and session duration. This data is used to operate and improve the site.
License validation data. AuditWalk may perform lightweight license validation to verify your entitlements. This process may involve a network request that includes your license identifier and version information. It does not include scan data, file contents, or system state information.
Support and diagnostic data. If you contact support or submit a bug report, we may receive information you include in that communication. If a future release includes optional diagnostic or crash reporting, that feature will be described separately, opt-in by default, and limited to the minimum data needed to address the issue.
5. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- fulfill purchases and manage license entitlements
- validate and enforce license terms
- respond to support requests and inquiries
- send an optional purchase record copy by email when you request it on the thank-you page

If you opt in where required, we may also send product update communications and release announcements.
