Refund Policy
This Refund Policy governs purchases made through AuditWalk, a product of Aden Media Group LLC. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.
1. General policy
AuditWalk software license purchases include a 30-day refund window from the original purchase date, unless otherwise stated at checkout or in a signed enterprise agreement. Requests outside that window are generally not eligible except where required by law.
2. Digital licenses and software purchases
During the 30-day window, you may request a refund review for eligible license purchases. We may deny refund requests where there is clear fraud, abuse, policy evasion, or material violation of license terms.
Outside the 30-day window, purchases are generally non-refundable unless:
- a written exception was granted at purchase,
- a verified duplicate/billing error occurred, or
- applicable law requires refund eligibility.
This policy applies to standard license tiers (including one-year, multi-year, and future subscription offerings) unless superseded by signed commercial terms.
3. Early adopter, promotional, and staged-delivery purchases
Promotional and early-adopter purchases follow the same 30-day refund window unless a different policy is explicitly stated at checkout. Discounted pricing does not reduce your baseline legal rights under this policy or applicable law.
Where a purchase references staged-delivery or future features, refund eligibility is based on this policy and the specific terms shown at checkout or in signed agreements.
4. Free products
Free downloads, open-access CLI releases, and trial versions are provided without charge and are not eligible for refunds.
5. Duplicate charges and billing errors
We will review and resolve duplicate charges, clear billing errors, and accidental multiple transactions. To request a review, contact help@auditwalk.com within 14 days of the transaction with your order information and a description of the issue.
6. Exceptional requests
We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in limited circumstances, including verified technical failure that prevented product delivery, or a mistaken purchase where no license or access was used. Approval is not guaranteed and any exception granted does not obligate us to grant refunds in future cases.
7. Non-refundable situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- change of mind after the 30-day refund window
- lack of use or inactivity
- dissatisfaction based solely on roadmap timing where no specific delivery date was contractually promised
- misunderstanding of product scope where the description was reasonably clear
- system incompatibility where requirements were disclosed prior to purchase
- purchases made through third-party resellers or marketplaces, which are subject to that party's own refund terms
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact help@auditwalk.com before initiating a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter with us may result in suspension or termination of access to the related license or product, where permitted by law. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks where we believe the charge was valid.
9. How to request a refund review
Email help@auditwalk.com with the following:
- your full name and purchase email address
- order number or transaction ID
- date of purchase and license tier purchased
- reason for the request
We may request additional information to verify the purchase and evaluate the request.
10. Processing time
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Actual timing may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution. We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or third-party payment processors.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will generally govern that purchase unless otherwise required by law.
